Happy Valley Hale Hostel
Need a clean & quiet place to stay at about $80.00 per night? For the very budget conscious traveler, the Kong family own & operate another property, not on the south shores, but conveniently located in the central part of Maui a short 7 minute drive from the Kahului airport. Happy Valley Hale Hostel is in Wailuku, and is part of the Maui’s seat of government. The town has a flavor of small shops, great little eateries, and easy access to the growing bus system.
Our hostel, (the concept "hostel" was popularized in Europe) offer our guests a clean, comfortable & low cost accommodation between $42/night for a single bed (during off season) in a shared room to $80/night for a private room for two. There are shared facilities, including kitchen, baths and living area.
Happy Valley Hale prides itself in catering to traveling guests who want to relax at the end of a day of exploring Maui, but without the craziness of a party atmosphere. All ages are welcome, the youth & the young at heart!

1. All rates are subject to taxes and change without notice.
2. Phone reservations not paid within 7 days will be cancelled.
3. Cancellation Policy. $100.00 Cancellation Fee ("CF") will be withheld for any and all cancellations, regardless of reason. If cancelling:
a. 31 days prior to arrival: all paid funds refunded less CF.
b. 30 days prior to &/or INCLUDING ARRIVAL DATE: all paid funds forfeited.
4. We will make every effort to re-rent your cancellation. If we are able to do so, a pro-rata refund, less CF and less 25% service fee, will be issued only AFTER re-rented unit has been vacated.
5. Check In Time: 2:00PM; Check Out Time: 10:00AM (Sorry, no late checkouts.)
6. No travel agent discounts, including online travel agencies (OTA) or affiliate websites.
7. Paid reservations are non-transferable.
8. Happy Valley Hostel services guests traveling with an active airline ticket. We reserve the right to verify the same by asking for your picture ID/passport & a paid return airline ticket.
9.All guests must be registered at time of booking/reservation. Sorry, even if have private room, no add-on guests allowed after initial check-in.
*Discounts are offered for reservation made directly to Happy Valley Hale Hostel (phone or email). Reservation must be at least 25 days prior to arrival & paid in full by check or money order. Any reservation made online through affiliate or refering websites and/or online travel agencies do not qualify for discounts.
